What You Need to Know
For nearly two-thirds of pregnant women, morning sickness is a common occurrence. What's the cause? The disappointing answer: nobody really seems to know.
Nutrition
Right now you need enough of each nutrient to help your baby grow and to keep your own body healthy. That's why you need to eat healthy foods. But you don't need many more calories. In fact, you only need about 300 more calories a day than before you were pregnant.
Exercise
Being pregnant can be hard work for your body. The uterus pushing on your diaphragm can make you feel out of breath. And hormones make your joints looser. Regular exercise can ease these common problems.
